A child fighting cancer need to know he or she is not alone. Here’s a wonderfully colorful, martial-arts inspired card that is upbeat and positive. The inner verse reads in part: “Cancer sucks, and fighting it is hard work.” Go read the rest, and you’ll find a message of encouragement and support. This one’s geared towards boys; tomorrow, I’ll post the girl’s version. Another thought – if you customize the inside message, removing the verse that’s there, you could also send this card to the sibling of a child with cancer or another serious disease, to let them know you’re there for them.
